Community Rules
TSO Community Rules
Our rules exist to keep TSO welcoming, fair, and enjoyable for everyone. Please read these rules carefully and ensure you understand them before participating in the community.
1.1 – Respect & Harassment
Treat other members of the community with respect.
Bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, racism, bigotry, discrimination, or targeted abuse are not permitted.
This includes behaviour directed at other players, community members, staff, or anyone else participating in the TSO community.
Disagreements are allowed. Personal attacks and hostile behaviour are not.
1.2 – Advertising
Advertising or promoting other communities, services, or businesses on TSO platforms is not permitted unless explicitly authorised by TSO.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Discord invite links
- Other gaming communities
- Websites
- Server IPs
- Competing services
- PayPal or donation links
- Recruitment links
Attempting to bypass this rule through indirect advertising or coded messages is also prohibited.
1.3 – Self-Promotion
TSO allows members to share their own content in designated areas of the community.
This includes Twitch streams, YouTube videos, clips, and similar content.
Self-promotion must be relevant to the designated channel and must not become spam.
Members who primarily interact with the community to repeatedly promote their own content may have their ability to self-promote restricted or removed.
Self-promotion is a privilege, not an entitlement.
1.4 – Cheating & Third-Party Software
You must not use software, scripts, modifications, or other methods to gain an unfair advantage over other players.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Cheats or hacks
- Automated clickers
- Automated typers
- Macros intended to provide an unfair advantage
- Third-party software that provides an unfair advantage
- Manipulating or modifying game data to gain an advantage
This rule applies across all TSO servers and services, including SweetsIO Twitch Game.
1.5 – Alternate Accounts & Ban Evasion
Alternate accounts may not be used to:
- Evade a ban or punishment
- Circumvent restrictions
- Farm rewards, currency, items, or other benefits
- Transfer benefits between accounts in an attempt to bypass restrictions
- Assist another account in evading a punishment
Using another person’s account or creating additional accounts does not exempt you from these rules.
1.6 – Impersonation
You must not impersonate another member, staff member, content creator, or other individual.
This includes using similar usernames, profile pictures, display names, or other methods intended to mislead people into believing you are someone else.
Impersonating staff or attempting to obtain information, permissions, or benefits by pretending to be someone else is prohibited.
1.7 – Spam & Disruptive Behaviour
Spam and intentionally disruptive behaviour are not permitted.
This includes:
- Repeated messages
- Message flooding
- Excessive mentions
- Repeated commands
- Character or emoji spam
- Deliberately disrupting conversations
- Spam intended to gain experience, levels, or other rewards
- Repeatedly posting the same content
- Attempting to circumvent spam protections
1.8 – Scams, Fraud & Malicious Activity
Scamming, phishing, fraud, or attempts to deceive other members for personal gain are prohibited.
You must not attempt to obtain another member’s:
- Account credentials
- Passwords
- Authentication codes
- Personal information
- Payment information
- Items or currency through deception
Malicious links, phishing websites, malware, or other harmful content are also prohibited.
1.9 – Privacy & Personal Information
Do not share another person’s private or personal information without their permission.
This includes addresses, phone numbers, passwords, private messages, account information, or other information that could reasonably be considered private.
Doxxing, threats to expose personal information, or attempts to identify and expose someone against their wishes are strictly prohibited.
1.10 – Inappropriate Content
Content that is excessively sexual, graphic, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for the community is not permitted.
This applies to usernames, profile pictures, messages, images, links, sounds, uploads, and other content shared through TSO services.
1.11 – Sexual Conduct & Predatory Behaviour
Sexual harassment, sexual solicitation, grooming, or predatory behaviour towards other members is strictly prohibited.
Any sexual interaction involving minors, attempts to solicit sexual content from minors, or attempts to arrange sexual contact with a minor is strictly prohibited.
Do not share or request sexually explicit content involving another member without their explicit consent.
1.12 – Reporting Rule Breakers
If you believe someone is breaking the rules, report them through the appropriate reporting system or contact a member of staff.
Do not attempt to punish, harass, threaten, or retaliate against another member yourself.
When making a report, provide as much useful information as possible, such as screenshots, recordings, usernames, timestamps, or other relevant evidence.
Reports should be made honestly and in good faith.
1.13 – Staff & Moderation
Staff are responsible for enforcing the rules and maintaining a fair environment.
You must follow reasonable instructions given by staff while they are carrying out their duties.
Arguing with, insulting, harassing, or intentionally obstructing staff is not acceptable.
If you believe a staff decision was unfair, do not escalate the situation publicly. Instead, use the appropriate ticket or appeal system so the decision can be reviewed.
1.14 – Rule Evasion
Attempting to circumvent a rule or restriction does not make the behaviour acceptable.
This includes using alternate accounts, different wording, loopholes, third-party services, or other methods to achieve something that would otherwise violate the rules.
Attempting to exploit a loophole in the wording or implementation of a rule is considered rule evasion.
1.15 – Bug Abuse
You must not intentionally abuse bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviour within TSO services.
This includes exploits affecting:
- Game servers
- The TSO website
- Accounts
- The economy
- Achievements
- Rewards
- Progression
- Trading
- Other TSO systems
If you discover a bug that could negatively affect the community, economy, or another member, report it to staff rather than intentionally abusing it.
1.16 – Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your TSO account secure.
You must not share your account credentials with other members or allow another person to use your account.
Attempting to access another member’s account without permission is prohibited.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact TSO staff as soon as possible.
1.17 – Common Sense
Not every possible form of misconduct can be listed in a set of rules.
Behaviour that intentionally exploits a loophole, causes significant disruption, damages the community, or undermines the purpose of these rules may still be considered a violation.
The absence of a specific rule does not mean behaviour is automatically permitted.
Final Note
By participating in the TSO Network, you agree to follow these rules and any additional rules that apply to individual servers, gamemodes, events, or services.
These rules are intended to provide a fair framework for the community. Staff may use their judgement when dealing with situations not explicitly covered above.
If you are unsure whether something is permitted, ask a member of staff before doing it.
